Project Comments

The conversation lives on the job.

Group texts bury the one message that mattered. Project comments keep every question, photo and answer on the project itself, so anyone who opens the job sees the whole story.

Why teams love it

Not another group text.

Every thread on its project

Comments sit on the project’s Comments tab, on the web and in the app. No scrolling back through a group text to find which job a message was about.

Mention who needs to act

Type @ and pick a teammate. They get a notification that opens the comment, not a vague “check the job.”

All in one place, not hidden group chats

Every comment lives on the project, not in a WhatsApp group on someone’s phone. When a worker leaves, what they knew about the job stays with you.

How it works

Talk about the job where the job is.

1

Post on the project

Open the project’s Comments tab on the web or in the app and write. Bold, italics and headings are there when a note needs structure.

2

@mention a teammate

Mention the person who needs to answer. They’re notified with a link straight to the comment, and when someone replies to your comment, you hear about it too.

3

Reply with photos and react

Answer in the thread and attach photos, up to eight per comment. Add videos from the web. A quick reaction says “seen” without another message.

4

Ask Meni in the thread

Mention @Meni with a question about the project. Meni reads the thread, looks things up with your access and answers there, without changing anything.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can homeowners see project comments?

No. Comments are for your team only and never show in the client portal. To share photos with the customer, put them in a folder you share in the client portal.

Who can read and post comments?

Anyone on your team with access to the project. When you type @, Menaia suggests teammates from the project’s branch.

How do mentions and replies reach people?

A mention notifies the person mentioned, and a reply notifies whoever wrote the comment. Notifications arrive in the app and by email or text, depending on the channels your admin turns on.

Can I attach photos and videos?

Yes, up to eight per comment. Photos attach from the web or the app, with the phone’s camera or library; videos attach from the web.

Can comments be edited or deleted?

Yes. You can edit or delete your own comments, and admins can remove any comment.

What does Meni do in comments?

Mention @Meni with a question and it answers in the thread, using the thread for context and only what you can access. It never changes the project.

Keep every conversation on the job.

Mentions, photos, replies and reactions, all on the project, so nobody has to dig through a group text again.
