FAQ

Solar installer software FAQ

Can I run the whole project from lead to commissioned install in one place?

Yes. Menaia runs the lead pipeline, the priced proposal, the site survey and permit stages, the install schedule, and invoicing in a single system. You build your own price book with real equipment and labor costs, so sales and operations work off the same numbers.

How does the price book keep reps from over-promising?

Your rep builds the proposal on-site by selecting panels, inverters, racking, and labor from your price book. Each line carries its real cost, so the price the homeowner signs reflects a system the install crew can actually build, and the margin is visible before the proposal leaves the table.

How exactly does the time-based bonus system work?

Every install includes a calculated time budget based on the system scope. Crews see the target on their phones. When they finish under budget, the saved hours convert to a bonus at a payout percentage you set, paid into each installer's in-app Wallet. You control the rate and the rules.

How does Menaia keep homeowners from going dark before install day?

The pipeline tracks each project through survey, permit, and install stages, and each visit goes on one calendar. Homeowners get a notice when their visit is scheduled, and Meni drafts the check-in email for you to approve, so the weeks between the signature and the install do not go silent.

What does Meni, the AI, actually do for a solar company?

Meni reads the pipeline, proposals, surveys and installs already living in Menaia. It drafts the check-in that keeps a homeowner from going dark while the permit sits with the city, tells you which signed deals have not moved from survey to install, and drafts the midnight quote request as a new lead with the address attached. Ask it which stage deals stall in this month and it answers with the number. Nothing sends until a person on your team approves it.

What does it cost to get started?

Starter is $199 per month with 3 seats, Core is $299 with 5 seats, and Pro is $849 with 15 seats. Extra users are $35 per month, and yearly billing saves 30%. Every plan comes with hands-on onboarding and a 14-day trial with 1,500 tokens to try Meni (business phone numbers come with a paid plan). See the full breakdown on our pricing page, or book a demo and we will walk you through it.

How long does onboarding take?

Most solar businesses are live and set in a week. We handle the setup with you, including building your price book, configuring your pipeline stages, and getting your reps and install crews on the mobile app. There is no IT work required on your end.
