1. About This Program
Menaia operates a text messaging (SMS/MMS) program on behalf of the businesses that run on the Menaia platform ("Participating Businesses") — home-services and field-service companies. Messages sent through this program are service communications between a Participating Business and its own customers.
Messages you may receive include:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Technician arrival and on-my-way updates.
- Estimate, proposal, and invoice notifications.
- Replies to questions about your scheduled service.
This program is not used for marketing or promotional broadcasts.
2. Consent to Receive Messages
You opt in when you give your mobile phone number to a Participating Business while requesting or scheduling their services — verbally while booking an appointment or requesting an estimate by phone, or by entering your number on a service request or estimate form. Providing your number in that context is your consent to receive service-related text messages about your request from that business.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies with your service activity — how many appointments you have scheduled and whether you reply with questions.
4. Fees
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Menaia and Participating Businesses do not charge you for receiving messages.
5. Opting Out
Cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming your unsubscribe, and no further messages from that business through this program. Reply START to re-subscribe.
6. Help and Support
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact info@menaia.com. For questions about a specific appointment, estimate, or service, contact the Participating Business directly using the details they provided.
7. Carrier Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data collected through this program are used only to deliver the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third party.
