Put the ranking on the wall.

Two live boards. Sales ranked by return per lead, crews ranked by time saved. Nobody maintains a spreadsheet and nobody disputes the order.

Meni watches every rank on the board. Return per lead for sales, time saved for crews, every point from closed jobs only. Ask why a rep slid this week and Meni answers with the number.
The Menaia sales leaderboard for one month: eight ranked salespeople with point totals, Elvis P leading at 12,847, beside annual pipeline and closing ratio KPIs.
Elvis P leads at 12,847. Second place is 1,316 behind. Everyone on the team knows both numbers.

Ranked by the metric that pays you.

Sales boards sort by average return per lead, not raw revenue, so the rep who quotes carefully beats the rep who sprays estimates. Crew boards sort by average time savings, so the fastest clean job wins, not the most hours logged.

  • Average sale$8,500
  • Closing ratio45%
  • Sold count, created count, return per leadper period
Crew board

What changes when the board is live.

Monday standups stop being a reading of numbers and start being a defense of position. The rep who slid has already seen it and shows up with a reason.

The middle of the board moves more than the top. Your best rep was always going to close. The person in sixth is the one who fights to be fifth.

A tech who slips two places asks why before you do. The conversation you used to start, they start for you.

Fair enough that nobody argues.

A board only works if the numbers behind it are clean. These are the guardrails Menaia holds by default.

  • Scores come from closed jobs only.
  • Warranty and QC visits are excluded automatically.
  • Specific users can be excluded by flag.
  • Periods reset weekly through yearly, with history kept.
  • Color coding is relative to the branch average, with thresholds you set.

Before you put it on the wall.

Can I run separate boards per branch?
Yes. Scope any board by person, branch, or company, so a five-branch operation runs five boards or one, however you compete.
Do boards reset?
They run weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. History is preserved, so last quarter is still there when this one ends.
Is it public shaming?
No. Non-managers see the top performers plus their own neighborhood on the board, not the full tail. Managers page through everyone.

Points can pay out as bonuses, and challenges layer on top of the same board.
